As students step into their professional courses, they bring with them enthusiasm and excitement to interact with new classmates, make friends, and embark on a new journey. Fresher’s Party serves as an event to connect students across semesters, fostering a sense of unity and camaraderie.

The third-semester students of the Department of Management Studies took the initiative to organize a grand Fresher’s Party for the newcomers. With due permission from higher authorities, the event was planned for 15th October 2019 at a banquet hall. The theme of the event was “Dress Your Best”, encouraging students to showcase their style and confidence.

The event commenced in the evening, after college hours, with all students assembling at the venue as per the given instructions. The second-year students warmly welcomed their juniors, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere.

• 🎙️ The event was skillfully anchored by Miss Adiba Sultana and Mr. Syed Ahmed Lateef, who extended a warm welcome to all attendees.
• 🎓 Prof. Amaresh Patil, Head of the Department, addressed the students and shared words of encouragement.
• 🪔 The Lamp Lighting Ceremony was conducted as a symbol of wisdom and enlightenment.
• 📚 The faculty members introduced the first-year students to the department, giving them insights into its academic and extracurricular environment.

To make the evening more engaging, the second-year students organized exciting activities for their juniors, including:

• 🎵 Singing competition – Students showcased their musical talents.
• 🚶‍♂️ Ramp Walk – A fun and stylish segment where students walked the ramp.
• 🗣️ Speak for a Minute – A challenge to test impromptu speaking skills.
• 🎬 Movie Clip Display – A short film prepared by seniors showcasing student life at H. K. E. Society’s S. L. N. College of Engineering.
• 📹 Video Tour of the College – A virtual tour to familiarize first-year students with the campus.

The event was not only entertaining but also aimed at making first-year students feel comfortable and connected with their peers and seniors. It helped create a positive and welcoming environment, fostering bonding among students across different levels.

After the program, a grand dinner was arranged for all students and faculty members, allowing them to interact in a relaxed setting. The event concluded with a photo session, capturing the joyous moments and memories shared during the Fresher’s Party.
