The Department of Management Studies consistently conducts events to enhance students' soft skills, communication skills, and career-building abilities. As part of this initiative, the department organized a one-day interactive session on “Placements” with Mr. Veeresh, Manager, AXIS Bank, Raichur.
The idea for the session emerged from a casual meeting between the Head of the Department, Prof. Amaresh Patil, and Mr. Veeresh at the bank. Recognizing the value of his insights, the department invited him for a guest lecture on placements and current trends in the banking sector.
The event was coordinated by Prof. Bhagyalakshmi and took place on 11th January 2020. It began with a formal welcome of the guest, the HOD, and the event coordinator on the dais. Mr. Veeresh was then introduced to the students.
